The Kibes of Brazil Bites are delicious, made from ground beef just like in Brazil. Kibe (pronounced kee-bee) is a little beef croquette with a shape of a rugby ball and contains bulgur wheat, seasoned with garlic, onions, mint, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Bulgur wheat comes from cracked whole-grain kernels of wheat that get parboiled and dried before using. It contains healthy omega 3 and 6 and is naturally cholesterol-free. It contains a significant dose of manganese, an essential trace mineral that plays an important role in metabolism, reproduction, and the immune response, among other functions.
